A OLI é um objecto em porcelana pintado de preto no exterior, completamente vidrado e dividido na horizontal em duas partes iguais. A base é uma taça para servir as azeitonas e a parte superior é um depósito para os caroços os quais são retirados através de uma tampa amovível que permite a limpeza da peça. A marca OLI, proveniente da palavra latina “olea”, que significa oliva, é um diminutivo para este fruto da oliveira, característicamente curvilíneo e feminino. Da autoria do designer Miguel Pinto Félix, a Oli é a azeitoneira portuguesa para todas as azeitonas do mundo.
OLI is a porcelain object, dyed black on the outside, completely glazed and horizontally divided into two similar parts. The base is a bowl to serve olives and the upper part is a container for the pits, which can be taken out through an interior removable lid, allowing the piece to be cleaned. The brand OLI is short for the name of this curvaceous and feminine fruit from the olive tree – the widely known olive – which originates from the Latin word “olea”. Designed by Miguel Pinto Félix, Oli is a Portuguese olive bowl for all the olives in the world.
